Go get it today it is amazing. Overall this is a great app. There were no instructions, but after playing with it I figured it out. On my old phone I figured out how to change the paint texture. By drawing with the pencil, saving, editing saved picture with Fresh Paint, and drying before painting you could create a smoother surface. I love the "inspire me" option which randomly shows pictures to get you started. Its brilliant for artists!

I also do not like how in the Microsoft tablet versions, there are coloring pages you can color but in the windows phone version, you don't have that option. I would also like if the colors you've created were saved so you could get the exact same color next time. This is a really great paining programme for the Surface. It works both in laptop and tablet mode, and it also works with and without the Surface Pen.
It is very easy to understand and use. The commands and painting supplies are given by pictures. There are many different options: type of canvas, textures, colors, pencils, brushes and more.
